Netflix is my replacement for Cable TV and I am doing a great job of watching the things I never got around to 10-20 years ago.

Margin Call – Nice concept but so poorly written I’m not sure the characters even cared what happened to them.

The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch – Very good heist-type movie about a murdered billionaire and his secret heir.

Heathers – Shoulderpads

Neverland – Syfychannel prequel to Peter Pan. Nothing much more to add to that.

House of Cards – Netflix-exclusive series and possibly one of the best series of 2013.

Vanilla Sky – It’s a sci-fi movie, but only the last 10 minutes. The rest is just Tom Cruise being sad.

Raising Arizona – Nicolas Cage at the high point of his career. 1987.

Monsters – Another good find. Low-budget alien movie by the guy making the Godzilla remake. Very light on the sci-fi part.
